At Autosoundry, we stand behind every product we sell. Below you will find detailed information about your legal warranty rights under Spanish and European Union law.

1. Legal Warranty (Garantía Legal de Conformidad)

All new products purchased from https://autosoundry.com come with a mandatory 3-year legal warranty starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty is provided under:

  • Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users — Spain)
  • Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods (transposed into Spanish law)

It covers any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery (manufacturing defects, mismatch with description, failure to perform as expected in normal use).

2. Remedies under the legal warranty

In case of lack of conformity, you are entitled to the following remedies (in this order of priority):

  1. Repair of the product — free of charge
  2. Replacement with an identical or equivalent product
  3. Price reduction
  4. Full refund and termination of the contract

During the first 2 years, the burden of proof that the defect existed at delivery lies with the seller. After 2 years — on the buyer (unless proven otherwise).

3. Upcoming change — Right to Repair Directive (from July 31, 2026)

Starting from July 31, 2026, under Directive (EU) 2024/1799 (Right to Repair), if we repair a product instead of replacing it, the remaining warranty period will be extended by at least 1 additional year for the repaired part or the entire product (depending on the case). We will apply this rule automatically as soon as it enters into force.

4. What is NOT covered by the legal warranty

The legal warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, improper installation, incorrect voltage, water, extreme temperatures
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons
  • Damage resulting from incompatibility with your vehicle or improper wiring
  • Products without proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

Professional installation is highly recommended — improper installation may void warranty coverage.

5. How to make a warranty claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered by the legal warranty:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible (and no later than 2 months after discovering the defect): danevrado@gmail.com
  2. Include order number, photos/videos of the issue and a description
  3. We will assess the claim and provide instructions
  4. Send the product to: R. López Mora, 5, 36211 Vigo, Pontevedra, Spain

If the defect is confirmed, we cover return shipping costs. We aim to resolve valid claims within 30–60 days (depending on complexity).

6. Commercial (manufacturer) warranty

Some products may include an additional commercial warranty from the manufacturer (e.g. 3–5 years or more).
This is separate from and in addition to the legal 3-year warranty. Check the product page or manual for details.
The legal warranty always takes precedence and applies regardless of the manufacturer warranty.
